A week or so ago a Rem 700 that I have long sought to acquire arrived at my home. Remington's (USMC Scout Sniper Association endorsed ) reproduction of the Vietnam War era M40. I wrote a lengthy review and range report which I posted to my ( commercial free ) blog which I write for a hobby. If you would like to read the review please see the article here: Review ? Thanks for the feedback. The slab side "Muscle" brand muzzle brake works great but, honestly, it is on a Rem .260 so it really is more for looks than anything else You will note that I shoot my .300 WM without a brake LOL.
I have one on my .308 it tames down real good. When I rebarrel my 300wm I will buy one for it. But enough of the brake talk hahaha! Do you have reviews on the WWII rifles?
