    Bedding action

My 700 has a parkerized finish. Can anyone tell me if I could run into trouble getting the action to release from bedding compound.

You should be able to coat it with a good release agent and be able to remove it. Even our "Glued In" in bench rest actions come out without much fuss. If you are too concerned, pillar bed the action only.
