I haven't used a Magpul stock. However, I have a few Bell and Carlson stocks, two M40 stocks (w/full length aluminum bedding blocks) and a Alaskan Sporter stock.

All made an improvement in accuracy. However, accuracy improved a lot more after I bedded the stocks from the rear tang to 1 1/2 to 2 two inches in front of the recoil lug.

    Our 700's-

    700 Classic 280 Rem., w/Leupold VX-2 3-9x40mm in a B&C Alaskan Sport stock.
    700 SPS Varmint 308 Win., w/Leupold Mk 4 4.5-14x50mm LR/T, in a B&C M40 stock.
    700 5R 223 Rem. w/Leupold VARI-X III 4.5-14x50mm LR/T, came in B&C M40 stock.

    700 SPS 270 Win. w/Leupold VX-2 3-9x40mm.
    700 BDL 223 Rem. w/Leupold VX-II 4-12x40mm AO.

    700 ADL Compact 243 Win. w/Leupold VX-1 3-9x40mm.
    All have Timney 510 triggers.

You can get better accuracy from most any of the factory stocks with bedding of the action and floating of the barrel. Add to that a stock that maybe fits you better and you can also improve accuracy.
