    It may be possible to find an old inner tube with a small enough diameter that you could cut a chunk out of and stretch over the end of the scope....just a thought.

    simple and effective , ill try it too , but does anyone know do nightforce make there own ? im after one for the 56mm objective ! , i have one on a vx-lll but (leupolds own) i can't find any make for a 56mm obj ? cheers lads

    Sorry it's off topic, is that a heavy barrel 308? If so, what muzzle brake?

    It is, the brake is a custom from Somarriba Gunsmithing in Miami, FL.
    It's expensive. But a nice piece and perfect flush fit.

    Jasonbourne, You are the man! I just got some extra screen from my business neighbor and applied it as directed and it works awesome! I was given thin screen and a more durable screen (both in black, and rubber, not metal), and the thinner screen works the best. Also, I was given about 2 square feet of both in case I botched it. I did not, and now have some to use in the future if needed or to give to friends! Thanks for the great tip!

    Glad you like it! The thinner the better. Thick mesh will result in heavily diminished light gathering.
