    Howdy From Texas

Howdy, new member here form Texas. I bought a Remington 700 ADL tactical in 308 a few months back for about $400 at Dick's. I already bought a scope for it, a Vortex Crossfire ii 3-9x40 that i had mounted and boresighted. All that's left to do zero it in at 100 yds. I also plan on using Remington Lokt-core ammo for the zeroing in I heard good things about that Ammo and it's fairly cheap.
Just so you guys know I am planning on using the rifle for hunting mainly. Down here in Texas we have lots of hogs to hunt. Anyways its god to be here and join the community. Here's a photo of the rifle at the range just to show it off. if you just any recommendations or advice i'm all ears!

Welcome to the forum, looks like a good setup,I’ve used cor lokt ammo for deer hunting and to zero it works well for that,we got no hogs to hunt in N.D. However I use .308 bonded bullets to hunt coyotes as they punch a good hole without blowing them up.
