I've searched the internet over for a rapid expansion/ fragmenting "varmint" style bullet in .30 cal, i would like to be able to add these to my repertoire as i begin to handload, any help? i know of the berger hunting vld's and the Dynamic research technology DRT line but i'd like to tailor my own rounds. thanks for the help!

Don't know if you can find them any more but Hornady used to make a 30 cal, 130 grain Pistol bullet for the .30 Harrett. The stock number was 3021. They were made to expand at around 2000 FPS and did well on deer at those velocities. I stuffed some in a 30-06 and ran them at about 3000 FPS. A coyote I hit with one was split in two. I bought them for my 7.62X39 bolt gun and they do well in there also
