I am new here. Don't know if this is the right place. I have been collecting rifles in 375 H&H cal. Found a M700 in 375 with a muzzle brake built into the barrel. The slots for the brake look like they were machined into the barrel. It looks like a early production by the two piece sear and the leaf-spring rear sight. Any body know anything? Is this gun "for real" or was it made up later? Oh, by the way, been using a 1975 made M700 375H&H topped with an 3-9 Redfield since I got it new. Never failed me here in Pa. Only ever needed one shot.

I would say that a previous owner had it Magna-Ported.
