So, the case I have been using for my SPS is way to big and getting on my nerves. I figured what better place to ask than here. So what kind of Bags/cases do you guys transport your rifle in?

Also I can never seem to get a full sight of view and be comfortable (Luepold VXIII 4.5x14-40) so I'm thinking of either gettting a Karsten cheek rest or a HS precision stock. Can't decide grrrrrr. thanks -Wade-

I use a VooDoo Tactical drag bag for my SPS Tactical. I carry way too much crap
but it holds it all and helps with my organizational disorder. The bag the boomster posted
looks good if you don't carry the kitchen sink with you. I bet it would work well and Allen
is a good brand. I would try moving the scope in regard to eye relief and maybe different rings
but an HS Precision is a good investment, expensive, but good. I use an Eagle
stock pack with some foam under it which helped me quite a bit.

FWIW I'm still looking for a long enough drag bag.

Guy's, a suggestion for you.

When you layout the templates for cutting the foam in the hardcases, place the scope towards the handle and not the hinge. It takes any and all loads off the scope.

You may just get away by turning the foam around.

Here's mine as photographed the day they were received.

PGWDTI Timberwolf (.338LM) - as issued to the Canadian army (C14) sans the can.

PGWDTI Coyote (.308Win).

Hope this helps.
