Hi all new here hope to learn alot about the Remington 700 rifles here and i think this is a good place to learn.

I am not new to shooting by no means but as far as bolt action rifles i am a rookie and have alot to learn.

Ordered a SPS tactical and would like to know whats a good Bipod one that is fixed ?

Also do i need an adapter to make it fit with the 700 SPS ?

Thanks again for the help....

Welcome to the forum jimmy,

There are a whole bunch of great people here to share info with. Great choice on your rifle selection! There are a million options for the 700 to really trick them out and achieve incredible accuracy.

Other than an Atlas bipod (which will set you back about $250) I don't think you will find a better quality bipod than a Harris. I went with a fixed mount 6" to 9" BR model. I don't know about the swivel models.

You won't need any special mounting adapters, as they attach right to the front sling swivel stud.
