Just putting out a feeler to see if anybody has any hart acks with the Hornady press. I have reloaded before many years ago but it was with a RCBS single stage and that was slow. I am looking to start reloading again and just dont have the money for a Dillon 650. Any goods and/or bads are welcome.

Thanks for any info you guy can give me.

I do too but it is just soooo slow I just don't have the time any more to crank out rounds for me and the other three people I reload for. Like last week we had to buy rounds at the store because I did not have the time to get all the rounds loaded that I needed. That pissed me off to pay a stupid price for ammo.

I've never used a Hornady press, but I would have pretty good confidence in them. I was looking at them recently and they seem to be a good press. If you want to reload a bunch of ammo quickly, then I would get one for sure.

I use a Lee Turret press and I can reload a hundred pistol rounds fairly quickly once I get going. For my rifle, since I don't load that much at a time - usually 25 or so, I just it like a single stage press. But if I needed to reload for 3 people, then I would get something like your are looking at.

I think I am going to get it. I will reload my long range rounds on the single stay press to keep them very consistant. The problem I have now is I can't find one on the net right now. The Hornady website said they are not being sold on the web right now do to low stock. I just can't win right now. Oh well I wll just go shoot something that always makes me feel better.
