This was from the year prior to them enabling the bolt to move with the safety on, great rifle, wish they still made quality Walnut stocks and this level of tight manufacturing.

It's the typical specs you know, Blind mag, high gloss Monte Carlo walnut Stock, beautiful blueing, thr reciever is almost like artwork, made of one piece of steel, just a nice fire-arm. Thought I'd share it with you guys. The recoil pad is an old timey white line, Pachmyr.

My 700 Mag ADL is from the same year. My brother in law bought it for an elk hunt in Colorado. I inherited it when he passed away. Along with the rifle and Leupold 3-9x40 scope, I got 2 full boxes of ammo and a box of brass. I know he killed elk in 1981 and 1982. He probably took 5 rounds to sight it in. One round for each elk and the others for practice. Beautiful rifles.
