I have uploaded my pictures to photobucket, can anyone help me with bringing them from there to here? I just dead end there when it comes to that . Thanks, Ron Tilley
Just copy and paste the link from photobucket. theres a img link for you on there.
When making a post, click on the little "image" icon just above where you type the message.

Two brackets will appear that look like:

["img"][/"img"]

Simply paste the link in between those like:

["img"]http://i447.photobucket.com/albums/qq194/tillroot1/100_0558.jpg[/"img]

However, remove the quotes. I put those in there so the forum won't think I'm trying to display an image. But just remove those quotes and copy and paste your link between the two "image" tags as shown above.

If you did it correctly, your image should appear below like this:

Here is another,,,,,,

its a trued 700 in .338RUM, Rock Creek barrel finished at 28.5" with a defensive Edge Break, Jewell Trigger, pinned lug, Leupold 4.5-14X40 LR with a Kenton custom elevation knob set up for the elevation that I hunt. I harvested two mule deer at 805 and 867 yards this year, and a few days later, I harvested a Antelope at 913 yards with it.

Wow.. nice collection! You must practice quite often at long ranges! What kind of scope on the .338?

Did you get one-shot-one-kill at that range? I've seem some videos on-line where they will drop in their tracks. They have no idea a bullet has been sent their way!
The antelope was 1 shot, one doe was one shot, the other took 3, but if I would have been patient, she would have collapsed, just not where she stood. here is another, its a older 700 trued up in a HS with a Leupold 4-12X40 with a Jewell and a Bartlein finished at 26" its my pack rifle. Chambered in .280Rem improved.

one more,,,,,,, its a trued up 700 chambered in 7MM08 improved, Kreiger barrel finished at 25", Jewell trigger, Leupold 4.5-14X40LR sitting in a McMillan A5. I shoot some matches with this rifle, it shoots the 162A Max bullets at right at 1" for 5 shots at 300 yards, its fun to shoot prone.

This is my favorite build from last year, it was built for a friend, he harvested a nice mulie buck at around 350 yards, a big 6 point bull Elk at 770 yards and a cow Elk at 1003 yards. All in the first year of his build. Its a .338 RUM in a trued 700 with a Rock Creek barrel finished at 27" with a Defensive Edge break, McMillan A5, Nightforce 5.5-22X56 with a zero stop, Jewell Trigger, Badger knob, and a Harris bi-pod.

Ron, do you do your own smithing work on all your guns? Truing the action etc...

I'm still impressed at those long ranges!

I do not do the smithing work, just round up the parts and send them off! I have a great gunsmith that does perfect work, always has time to discuss the builds with me, and has a great turnaround time as well, my parts usually spend more time in the mail between here and there than they do in his shop. For myself and friends he has done probably at least 30-35 re-barrel jobs most with action touch-ups as well. He does benchrest quality work on all the guns he builds, I have to say that all of the work he has done ror me, is top shelf. Something that impressed me is how clean his shop is, he sent me some pictures of his shop a few months ago, and it is spottless. I know how you feel when it comes to long range, it almost is a obsession, there are alot of guys that shoot further and have better equipment but out to 1000 yards, I can hang in there pretty good with what I have.
