This is my family when I want to make very small holes in the target

The top one is in a McMillan Tactical stock with blind box magazine, 308 Win heavy contour 24" cut rifled barrel with a JP muzzle brake. The scope is a Leupold 6.5-20X in mark 4 rings and bases. Dura Coat finish. This gun normally wears a Leupold 3.5-10X Long Range Tactical with mil-dot 30mm main tube scope.

The bottom one I just got on Christmas eve its a M40 replica HS precision Pro-Series Tactical stock, Shilen trigger, Badger Ord. 20 MOA scope rail with a 4.5-14X Leupold 50mm front bell 30mm main tube Long Range scope on top. Pacific Tool Tactical bolt handle, you can't see it but it also has a Sako style extractor. I'm not even sure who made the bottom metal still researching that but it is a M1A 10 round mag. 308 Win heavy contour 20" barrel with Smith Ent. Vortex Flash eliminator.
Both shoot my handloads in 1/2" or less at 100 yrds very easy in fact if they were'nt so fun to shoot it be boring they are so accurate. I will take them out tomorrow to see what the velocity diff is in the two barrel lenghts using the same load.

Those are nice! It is certainly fun to shoot accurately all day long isn't it!

Isn't that 4.5 - 14 a 50mm instead of a 30mm scope? Maybe they make a 30mm variant of that scope.
The 50mm is the front bell the 30mm is the tube body ie. instead of a 1" tube like in the gun above.
And yes that larger 30mm tube makes a lot better scope.
Thanks for pointing that out, I try and give details and still miss by a long way, I did a edit.

Thanks,
I took the picture for insurance (in case I need it) and then figured I would show them off a little on this nice forum.
I took both of them out to the range and fired my handload over a Chrony that duplicates Federal Gold Metal Match load and there was only about 80 to 90 fps difference between the 20" barrel and the 24"barrel.
Now I just got to figure out why I own two 308's that kinda look alike and shoot the same load alike, at least I'll have fun trying to figure out why.
Life is short, have fun with it.

Ah yes, I didn't even think that you could have been refering to the tube.
