My SPS Tactical .308 project to date.....

Well fellas I was warned by many that the purchase of my SPS Tactical .308 rifle was just the beginning of a labor of love and cash. Well just more then several months since I purchased it I still love it , but it has been a punishment to the wallet to say the least and i'm a glutton for punishment! I wanted to take a little more time and post some better pics of this labor of love, but i'm not very good with a camera. Just to give you an update.....these are the changes to the stock rifle I had and where it is currently. They are as follows........

Same Nikon Buckmaster 6x18x40mm SF and Leupold QRW rings and base ( damn good scope, but MilDot version being eyed! )
Swapped out Hogue stock for an HS Precision stock PST012
Harris Bipod 1A2 notched ultra light
AZ Precision custom bolt knob installed by Gunsmith Keith Johns and Cerakote applied to bolt and knob









Next upgrade being considered is a Timney 510 trigger to take advantage of the 1.5 to 4 Lb adjustable trigger pull. The current X-Mark PRO trigger is working well, but I feel the Timney will help even more due to its lower adjustable range. Anyway this is my first bolt gun and I have to say that the journey has been costly, but well worth it with the results this production rifle is producing. And the wallet hits will keep on coming!
