Am I glad I found this site.
Definately a lot of knowledge here.

I recently picked up my 700, but I'm not too fond of the Hogue stock.

There are two areas I would like some input on.

One: Bell & Carlson or HS stocks?

Two: Wyatts or HS external mag conversion.

Which of these four would go together the best?

The gun will be used for long range shooting.

As of lately I have been shooting my M14s', but have been wanting the added accuracy of a bolt gun.

Thanks

+1 to what jasonbourne said. The HS stock and the wyatts bottom plate might need some fitting mods done. Same thing with a B&C stock and HS bottom plate.

Thanks very much.
I was leaning that way, but not quite sure.
Time to pick a stock.
Any one B&C stock in particular?

I have the a5 adjustable medalist. It's great if your shooting off a bench but if your shooting prone it's a pain in the neck to make slight adjustments usin a rear bag.

All a matter of what your looking for

Wyatts fit good in b&c. I'd go that route.

If you decide to go hs, get matching bottoms

I went and bought the B&C A2 Vertical Grip.
After researching, it seems to be what I need for now.
Also went with CDI for the DBM.
A friend who has done many, will do the install.

Thanks
