Thing is though, many will swap the stock our first of all anyway. Though the Hogue is a decent stock. but really, its just a threaded barrel with a different colour hogue stock. is it worth the price increase?? Just playing devils advocate.

i think its just a was to get more SPS TACs sold.

like you said it has a threaded barrel, a green colored stock, and a different twist on the barrel.
my tac shoots super good and with no problems and from what i have seen from the last SPS that
had a 1-10 twist that i my new SPS TAC with a 1-12 twist shoots better groups with the 175 SMK than
the 1-10.

i dont see this deal being worth the extra money.

It is in the same stock, just a different color. The threaded barrel will appeal to those that end up doing that anyway, like me.
The big plus is the different twist. It will allow for heavier bullets (like 175+) that lots of people want to use at longer ranges but this is a secondary benefit. The real intent of the twist is really for those that shoot cans, as it will allow the shooter to push subsonic loads without worrying about bafflestrikes that happen with the slower twists with slower than standard loads.
The market will not be huge for this, but I know a lot of people that have wanted exactly these things.
They will probably replace the stock as soon as they get it, but that's part of the beauty of the SPS T: it is produced cheaply enough that it is no big deal to replace the stock with what the individual really wants.

I just got mine in Monday. Got it ready and I sighted it in Saturday.

Hornady 168gr. Amax- .311"

Federal Premium 165gr. Sierra Gameking BTSP- .673"

old Hornady 150gr. Interlock BTSP- .882"

Hornady 150gr. SST- 1.024"

Hornady 168gr. Match BTHP- 1.469"

Hornady 150gr. SST Superformance- 1.553"

Federal 180gr. Nosler Partition High Energy- 1.607"

Federal 180gr. Hi-shok PSP- 1.67"

Scope was a Leupold FXII 4x33 in Talley Lightweight Lows. Distance was 100yds. These were 3 shot groups and I know what some will say but I plan on hunting with it mainly. Got it primarily because it was 1:10 twist.

I am going to shoot it some more later on when I get some more of the more promising ammo.

the website says the SPS tactical is $734.00 msrp and I bought mine in NWA for $606.00 brand new in the box. I bet that this one will be cheaper just like mine was, but it does include a scope and suppressor if what the website says is true so i guess i wouldn't mind forkin out the extra dinero

It does not include a Suppressor, Scope, Base, or Rings. I got mine from budsgunshop. With the ins. and the CC surcharge it was $607 and I paid $15 for the transfer fees.
