Yep, The site says there is over 10,000 members. What a wealth of knowledge about the Remington 700 and related shooting, reloading, hunting and other facets of interest to their owners.

And now, it is lucky if there is one or two NON-Advertising Posts a Day.

The large volume posters of old have all gotten fed up and left and now have to be looked for on sites like Sniper Hide, Accurate Shooter, Long Range Shooter etc. Such a waste of a super knowledge base.

Though I have left the sites a number of times and considered not coming back at all, I have frequented the site in the hope that responding to the few New Members will get enough activity going to drown out the constant ads and result in a return of some of the old regulars, but that does not seem to be happening.

Thanks to one or two of the current small base of posters, at least the Baseball Crap is off the site.

I hope that in some way we can change this situation and for the time being I will continue to try.

If everyone would simply stop clicking on the multiple advertisements that appear daily under New Posts, maybe these people would go away. I don't know why the owners of the site allow this kind of stuff to persist. They have to realize the legitimate user base will eventually tire of seeing this junk and migrate to other sites. Once the legitimate supporting advertisers realize the user base is decreasing and there is no longer anyone around to view their products, they too will go away and spend their advertising dollars elsewhere.

I have made numerous attems to have gun.deals reigned in with the Site Owner with no results. I attemped to contact them directly but I suspect the Moderator seldom if ever logs in. Last login was in November.

I don't click on the ads. I am sure these vendors are paying fees to be able to post these ads. At least Camera Land has a free raffle every month and gives away prices. They are contributors to many gun related sites.
