Anyone know the year/date range that these slings came with a new rifle? I watch Gumbroker for 700s with a sling 4 sale. Few and far between? I still use mine from the mid70s? THX

First style sling was 7/8” leather with brass stud for Gen 1 rifles (1962-1968). Second style sling was 7/8” leather with black steel buckle for Gen 2 & 3 rifles (1969- 1978).
