This year we start to shoot our new LR challenge: 1000 m with 308W. Target 1 MOA (bubble or ceramic 300x300 mm). The rule is simple - prone position, bipod and fire. Third (and less) round (CBS incl.) - Cupronickel badge, less then 10 rnds - the brass one

Mostly 700s. A few HS, LRS-2, Sav-10, -11, I use LTR there.

Russian SV98

My summer loads: SMK168-Sc167 / VV140 / 45,0 (for short barrel of LTR only!) / COL 71,2 mm. Lapua brass.

Is that a Leupold on the SV98?

I've got a Mark 4, but I've heard NF has a little better glass. I also have Bushnell Elite 4200 that I like very much.

Elbow pads are a good idea too!

Yes, Mk4 8,5-25x50 instead "official" Hyperon. I heard opposite opinion: Leo brighter then NF. My old eyes doesn't seen difference.

Elbow pads helps relax right hand, it's doesn't slight outside.

Blaser LRS-2. Typical UFO. I prefer classic rifle, such as Rem700 at HS stock.

BTW tere was fixed two national records: clear shot at 1212 m and 1310 m in marmot's head. Just handloaded 243win, not WSSM or LM!
