That would be the missus's purse:

She loves shooting and that is the very reason I am able to get a new USO for my M24 since my CS broke. :D

hahahahahaha Right on. That's cool though - she can shoot the GSG5 while you rock the M4. That GSG5 is an awesome, fun weapon. I used to carry the MP5 (for about 10yrs) and I loved it.

Yeah dude, just get her some smaller munitions and drag her along with. It pays to have the women interested in shooting, since they make the difference in our lifes being happy, or, well, you know.

I got the gsg for a steal, brand new 1st anniversary for 300. She loves it and so do i. When I'm broke that's my range buddy.

Making our women interested in guns makes the purchasing process smooth :)

So far my wife has funded my entire 700 build and I thank her all the time :)

...I miss the M249. :(

Yeah brother there is nothing quite like it is there? The sound, smell and recoil. One of a kind.

There should be a way that those of us proficient with it (and other weapons) could take a practical hands-on exam and get licensed to own those weapons. Not just us military guys, but anyone with experience enough to "test out" and get licensed.

That would be very bad...I would go broke feeding it. :D

Unfortunately mine was taken away after PLDC. CO somehow felt an NCO shouldn't be carrying a belt fed primary weapon. Not like we were lacking....a Maintenance Company with 250 soldiers, and we had 22 SAWs.

hahahaha, yep same way with sniper school, we only hold the position as lower enlisted. Move up and move aside, let the young bucks take the reins.
