Hi guys. I will start by saying that I really don't know a lot about bench rest shooting, only that I always liked the way the rifles looked. So I got the itch to build one. The only thing I did not do on this build was the paint job. It was done by a local airbrush artist. The rifle is simply a Stiller P1000 action, with a stright 1.250" Kreiger barrel with a 1 in 8 twist finished at 28 inches. The trigger is a Jwewll BR set at just above 8 oz. It is pillar bedded in to a McMillan MBR stock. The scope is a Nightforce BR 42 power. I chambered it in 6.5x47 Lapua, and it shoots great at 100 yards. I haven't had a chance to drive to where I can see how well it will do at 600.
