Hi, I just got my new TriggerTech special home to install on my REM 700. I just read that they had a recall recently (the trigger I have was not part of the faulty once). Does anyone know about how safe this trigger is to use? I wouldn’t want to install an unsafe trigger system.

this is just my option. I am not familiar with the TriggerTech but I did look at the design and the recall notice. I would have to look deeper into the details of the roller design to personally get comfortable with it. But as for the recall it is specific to the use of a specific material and production run. It does not appear to be related to the actual design. I would not let the trigger recall affect my opinion of the trigger, based on the description of what led to the recall.

Any trigger can suffer mechanical failure. Some triggers like the Remington Walker trigger are more prone to failure than others and in the Walker trigger for no apparent benefit.
