Tomorrow has been designated to honor the men and women who have served our country to keep it's citizens safe from those who would do us harm.

Know a veteran? Shake their hand and offer a simple "Thank You." They will appreciate it.

I would this opportunity to thank my father for his service in the Army Air Corp in the south Pacific during WWII. He turned 90 this past year.

For those serving their country now and those who served in the past please post you Branch, Unit(s), MOS, and time of service. I will go first.

Deployed to afghanistan in support of O.E.F on August 2008 home september 2009

Well that's me if you guys are wondering O.E.Fs name was. And happy to be out and back home in southern illinois with my family and wife. Hope more people continue this. And Thanks to all who have served and are currently serving.

Thanks to all the vets, I never served. However if it were not for my two great uncles who are both vets I would have never learned how to shoot.
