What kind of muzzle velocities are you guys getting out of the shorter barrel compared to a 24" on the regular SPS?

With FGMM 168gr I was getting about 2520fps out of my SPS Tactical. I have no idea what it would get out of a 24" barrel..I assume about 2560-2620fps. (Usually it's a loss of 10-30 fps per inch).

With my reloads I'm getting a bit faster than that. I haven't chrono'd them, but I'd assume about 2800-2900fps with a 168gr based on the drops I've noticed at various distances.

With a 175gr I was getting about 2725fps, and with a 155gr I had it pushed over 3000fps (both chrono'd)

Thanks. I was tossing around the idea of the SPS and the SPS TAC , and was just wondering if there was a significant difference in velocity drop. It doesn't look too bad.

That's with a muzzle brake. Without the muzzle brake it's a little faster (don't have chrono on it, but at 600yards without the brake poi raised 2moa for the above load)

This is out of a 700aac 20"heavy bbl with brake on.
