You could use any of those calibers with equal success. There are pros and cons to each. It basically boils down to personal preference. I will say from experience that the Win 300 mag is too large for whitetail deer. Unless of course your planning to shoot one at 1000 yards or something. 300 mag destroys way too much meat and that much power isn't needed to bring down a deer. I no longer hunt, but I've always been a big fan of the .270. I think most guys use a 30-06. It is a very reliable cartridge. But so is .308. So like I said, its probably more of a personal preference. You probably should better analyze your hunting environment and then ask the question. Too many variables.
