Greetings to the Forum...another "New Guy" here.
Just getting back into shooting since years from the Corps firing line. Accompanied a friend to the range last year and got my interest up. Over last year spent a lot of time looking for a "get back into shooting rifle"; nothing to big to start just down range and getting on paper. Awaiting the 10 day California DROS end to pick up a 700 SPS Tactical 16.5" .223. Will keep you posted as I start the process to get back in the "V-ring"
Plan is to just start on the range and get some good groups at a 100 and get on paper at 300, maybe 500 (if I can find a 500). Just a weekend marksman...looking to have fun at the range...and improve my skills.
I look forward to soaking up knowledge from the collective wisdom at 700Rifle!
